4 Things Not to Do When Reducing Caloric Load for Toned Arms

You have to cut calories if you want toned arms, there is no way around this. Unfortunately, too many women go overboard here.

Do you know of any women going on extremely low calorie diets??? Unfortunately, this has become the norm and places a huge toll on the female body.

If you want toned arms, never cut calories by more than 20%. That’s the limit. Anything above and beyond that will shut down your arm-fat-burning hormones.

Now most women associate a calorie cut with massive lethargy. But this doesn’t have to be the case. In reality, you can actually be MORE energetic if you do things the right way. Thus, here are 4 things not to do when reducing caloric load for toned arms:

1. Using supplements to substitute regular food. Very few supplements actually work. The regulation of dietary supplements in our country is broken, seriously. Moreover, regular food will always leave you more satisfied than a supplement. And it’s healthier!

2. Only eating once or twice a day. This is a horrible method for reducing caloric intake. In reality, increasing meal frequency becomes more relevant when restricting calories to get toned arms.

3. Staying out of the gym. Muscle needs to be fed lots of calories and your body doesn’t like that-especially when it’s being deprived of calories. So the best way to make your body keep your muscle when dieting is to lift weights.

4. Eating unbalanced meals. Don’t simply cut out carbs or fats to reduce your caloric intake. Balanced meals are crucial for accelerated arm fat burning. And vegetables are really important for slowing down digestion which in turn speeds up fat loss.

Caloric restriction is absolutely necessary for getting rid of arm fat. However, you must cut calories in moderation. Anything drastic may work in the short run, but in the long run your arms will rebound. Trust me, I’ve been there and it’s not a good feeling. So make sure to follow my above tips when cutting calories!
