Suggestion:
Dark hair does typically look better on olive to dark skinned people which is my opinion. So if your bored with it maybe try some streaks and perhaps try getting your hair layered. I wouldn't cut to much off until your sure that you'll like it. Maybe a medium length hair cut layered so that you can flip it out with a curling iron. Sounds cute, but I would try to go with a cut that is going to frame your face well.

I have Filipino friends who have medium, shoulder length hair (layered) with a side fringe. Depends on what you like though.
Get a d. Ick head shaped hair style with a little pony coming off the top so it appears like a c. umshot
