Long hairstyles that I could get?

I have semi long hair dark brown hair. I straighten it whenever I go somewhere. I was wondering if there were any haircuts I could get to spice it up a little but keep the length. I don't really want layers, been there done that… I was thinking sidebangs to go along with anything you come up with!:)

For school this fall I would like to use lots of new hairstyles because At the moment I am only using a plait a ponytail or my hair down. Hairstyles for really long hair?

Okay, so I have long hair (2-3 inches above my butt), it's all one length and it is really really difficult to manage. I don't quite know how to explain it… I have a ton of hair but the individual strands are super super fine and tangle within 5 minutes of brushing it. I can't cut it shorter because for some reason my mom is extremely adverse to this and I don't exactly want to piss her off over my hair right now.
