Should I Get My Hair Cut Like This with Highlights(pics)?

So, I want my hair cut like Lauren Conrad's: http://www.totalhair.net/hair-styles/Celebrity-Hairstyles-Women/Lauren-Conrad/Lauren-Conrad-015060.jpg I am getting my hair cut like this in a week or so. My question is, since my hair is the exact same color as Lauren's, should I get light brown highlights with the hairstyle? I'm not sure if I should or not..? Would it look right? Also, if you can find a pic of a girl with a bob like Lauren's with light brown highlights, that would be awesome!

Suggestion:

the hairstyle is cute, you could get highlights but not too dark or light so that they stand out too much, a really light brown would look good though.
