How to Have Shiny and Thick Hair

Everyone loves shiny hair. Smooth, silky hair is a sign of healthy hair as the layers of the cuticle lie flat and reflect light. The flat cuticles cover the inner layers tightly so they are sheltered from heat, sun, chlorine and other environmental hazards.

Diet and lifestyle are two chief aspects that influence the vigor and vitality of the hair. Improper diet, ill health and lack of any particular vitamin and mineral influences the shine of hair and causes various other hair problems like  dandruff, thinning hair, balding, premature graying. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, salads, milk, fruits, sprouts, proteins, buttermilk, yeast, wheat germ, soya beans, whole grains and nuts to have smooth and silky hair.

One of the best methods to improve the quality of hair is by regular cleaning and brushing the hair. When the hair is brushed, oil-producing glands in the scalp become stimulated. The natural oil present in these glands makes the hair shiny and healthy.
To provide additional shine to the hair, subsequent to washing the hair with some lemon juice mixed in a cup of warm water.

Another good way to protect and have shiny, healthy hair is by gently massaging the scalp with coconut or almond oil daily for 10 to 15 minutes. You can also rinse hair with Margosa leaves extract. Put to boil Margosa leaves in water. Cool and strain the extract and get ready to have naturally healthy hair with regular usage.

Hibiscus flowers are particularly useful to prevent hair loss and add that extra shine to the hair. You can boil a small number of hibiscus flowers in coconut oil. Then strain the extract and regularly apply this to the hair as hair oil. It can help boost hair growth and improve the quality of hair.
