How Can I Describe This Hairstyle to the Hairdresser?

Okay, so I had long hair that falls in a straight line down my back. But I want it to fall in a kind of soft V shape down my back. Like the middle hair is longer and then slowly gets shorter as it goes into the sides.
Do you know what I mean, or am I being confusing? And if you know what I mean, is there a quicker way to explain. I don't want the hairdresser to mess up my hair.

Just tell ur hair dresser the way u just wrote to us im sure shell undertsand better if u tell her with a wider explanation than if ur confused and trying to tell what ur saying in like compressed form and then she really wont understand and she will probably cut it weird so tell her how ever you feel you think she will understand better dont worry about talking too much and feeling embarrassed after all its YOUR HAIR !!
