How Can I Get My Hair Like This…?

How would I be able to get my hair styled like this?:

I want something along the lines of shaved sides and a long top

Am I best off going to a Barbers or a Hairdressers?
I don't think my local Barber really deals in long hairstyles as I have asked him before, so should I go to a Woman's salon?
Where do people go to get these sort of hairstyles nowadays!!!?

Take the photo to a salon to describe the style. That is not what most barbers would consider a long style. A barber could easily cut that as there is no tapering at all on the sides and back, just running the clippers up the back and sides fitted with a clipper guard; however, some barbers will not want to cut such an unbalanced looking haircut as they will consider it bad for their reputation and business.
