How Can I Make a Pullback Hairstyle for Men?

I want to pull back my hair but when i put gel and comb my hair it stay but then it just spikes up how can i make it stay down

maybe try a stronger gel…or a paste….or blow dry it backwards/the way you want it to stay down(:
