Would This Hairstyle Look Good on Me Please Read?

When I started college i began thinking my current hairstyle really doesnt make me look too mature although i have had many people tell me that i am "cute". However, Im sorta sick of being so "cute" so I asked a stylist what a good hairstyle for me to look more mature and heres what she suggested.

It would be a pretty dramatic change from what i look like now so i wanted to ask others what they think. i want something more hot rather than cute i guess. Heres what I look like right now

Suggestion:

I think the stylist has a great option on what to do with your hair. Definitely cutting length will make you look more mature. BTW I know what you mean by looking "cute". As a girl I hate it when people call me "cute" and I am almost 25 now but look much younger. I say we've been blessed with a gift to look younger and because of that we are going to age gracefully and look awesome even in 25+ years.
