Looking for Some Haircut Advice? Can't Decide if Short Hair, or These Cuts, Would Look Good on Me?

I have semi-long hair right now and I'm growing somewhat tired of it. I made the decision awhile ago to make it short, but now I'm wondering if I'd look good with short hair, or if it'd look horrible.
My face is fairly "soft" in that I don't have a well-defined jaw, and it's fairly curved (if that makes any sense..?)

So basically what i was thinking is longer on top and shorter on the sides. But I don't want the top too long. I was thinking (on the top) shorter in back, like side-length, and then increasingly longer as it moves towards the front, with the left edge and front forming bangs. I want a lot of layers. I don't want it to look clean cut, but not WAY out there either.

The last two I'm considering the most. Especially the 2nd to last one.

So what do you think? Would I even look ok with short(ish) hair? Could I look good with any of these? Any particular aspects I could take from them? I think I might want to mix and match a few for originality, but I dunno.
