There are a lot of things that you can do with long hair, and I find that long hair is much more versatile. I have long hair, but when its all one length, I can't do much with it, so instead I got some layers and a long, side swept fringe. Short hair can look good on some people, and long hair looks good on some people. I have small features so short hair looks great and long hair looks terrible on me. So, it depends what you look like and what texture your hair is

Well, long hair is nice, but its harder to comb through and longer to straighten if you need to.
Short hair doesn't necessarily mean boy hair, it can be shoulder length, and still be cute. I prefer medium length on me, easier to style, but not too short.
