Short Scene Hair with Extensions?

I have mid-back lenght hair right now,and I really want scene hair. I have tried like 4 different salons now, and none of them have been able to give me a scene cut, even if I tease and style my hair.

So if I get a short, choppy hairstyle and add long extensions (like the photo shown below), will it look scene? I'm just worried that with the 2 long extensions there will be a big, empty space in the back.

Suggestion:

take the picture in with you and tell them you want longer layers on the bottom, with some short, fringy layers near the crown of your head. thats what i was going to but i forgot the picture in the printer(: oh and if you put the extensions in correctly then it will look fine. just make sure to have the ends of your layers thinned out so it blends in more with the extensions. either way you go i think it will look great

yes i guess so..

why does it have to look scene? lol… are you wanting the hair cut cuz you like the hair or want to look scene?

yeah it will. the trick is to get shorter layers in the top of your head so when you tease it it will look like that. you should get 18" extensions theyll look good with that hair
