Why Do My Bangs Stay Straight When I Have Curly Hair?

I have curly which I love but I've notice when my hair drys my bangs are always straight It doesn't matter If there long or short they always stay straight when the rest of my hair is very curly it like an instent hairstyle that i don't have to do anything with. Is there a reason for this I'm just curious.

Because some peoples' hair only curls when it reaches a longer length. Usually if you have wavy hair or large curls.
