Would This Haircut Be Hard to Maintain?

I heard that short hair requires a lot of styling, which i do not want to do. Right now, my hair is long-medium, and I just wash and go. No styling gels/spray or anything. Please give me advice!

Note: I am Asian and have straight hair.

Suggestion:

If you want it to flip up on the ends like in the picture it will require some styling but if not then no. However, i cut my long hair before and i hated it, make sure its what you want because it takes forever to grow back your long beautiful hair. Hope i helped(:
