How to Get a Mohawk for Girls? (plz Read the Info)?

Heyy. So for school(and yes its started for some people) there is a spirit week and for one of the days its like wacky hair. So, I kinda always wanted to have a mohawk:) loll uhhhh and i have a couple problems though.
1. My hair is down to a LIL bit past my collar bone and is layered.
2. I have NO IDEA how to create a mohawk
3. Idk if its possible?

Ok so I' not lookign for one of those reall really long mohawks that go straight up and stuff…

And ik that the model with the mohawk type hairstyle has short hair and i have longer hair, but for me I wouldnt put up all of my hair. I'd put up like, half of it in a mohawk thing and the rest down.
Exactly like the girl in the miley cyrus 7 thigns music video(dont judge me:P) and the best view of it i guess is at 3:11 & also at 1:38 in the vid. I really really wanna get a mohawk thing like that and i've tried but i've failed. I'm tryign to find a pic of her on google and i cant:( so if you can help me or show me a website that'll help me get a 'soft' mohawk like that then i'll give u 10pts and answer ur ?'s and everything!

(she's the girl in the last picture) &iik its like to worst picture ever to see the mohawk hairstyle cause yu cant rlly see it, but i'm still gonna try to find a better picture of the hair.

well, im sure you dont want to shave the sides of your your hair off… you should look at you tube videos that will show you how
