What Type of Hair Style is This?

Like what do you call the style where men gel or mouse the front part of their hair?

And how do you get hair like this? Should I avoid this type of style if I have a big forehead?

Suggestion:

That style is probably best described as a messy textured cut. You need products to style it that way.
You would have to grow out the sides to 3/4 to and inch long and the top about 2-2 1/2 inches.
That style would be good to help take some attention away from a large forehead.
