What Type of Visual Kei Haircut/hairstyle Should I Get?

I've been meaning to get my hair cut for a long time now, and i've finally grown it long enough! My hair is past shoulder length (About 1/2 inches longer than shoulder length), no layers although I do want layers cut in. My hairs brown if that helps? I would provide a picture but I don't think you're allowed too?

I would like a full fringe (Possibly shaping my face) but I have no idea if I need to get layers cut in, get my hair feathered etc. I want to put A lot of volume in my hair, but at the moment I can never manage to get it to have a good texture/volume, i'm guessing it's down to the hair products but I have no idea what works and what doesn't.

Any help on the type of cut needed or hair products.

Yeah you would have to get it layered, also if you really want the style to look good, add some highlights.

As for hair products, you'll want some canned aerosol hairspray, just pick a brand. The normal spray kind will weigh down the hair too much for this style.

- Aerosol Hairspray
- A Comb
- Hair Clips
- Hair Straightener Iron

As for the exact style you want, that's really up to your own personal taste. But why not start with one, and then do a few of them, play around and try new stuff. ^.^
