Good Hairstyles for a Beach Wedding?

I've been trying so hard to discover a good hairdo for my dark brown hair that is about past my chest. The weddings in October and on a beach, my only issue is my face isn't really complimented by updo hairstyles but i feel like an updo is the best way to go for a beach wedding. Suggestions of hairstyles that look good on everyone and are appropriate for the occasion?

curl your hair and then put it into a LOOOOSE bun with some curly strands sticking out, and put in white flower clippiings in.

Maybe like a loose curly pony tail. I think it would work because it's not exactaly an updo but it still pretty formal, and since it's a ponytail it won't blow in the wind as much ( something important to consider when attending outdoor events)
