What is a Good Hairstyle for a Wedding?

I will be getting married to my boyfriend when he gets back from basic training for the army in december since he will be leaving october 12th. I have medium short hair and i need some good ideas on what hairstyle would be good. What hairstyles would be good?

Also, what is a good way for us to tell our families that we are getting married?

Suggestion:

If you can, invite your family or families to brunch and tell them together. It also allows them to meet if they haven't already.

As for your hair, don't go too overboard. You don't want to look back at your pictures and not even recognize yourself. I did a crazy updo for my wedding, wore a TON of makeup, had fake nails, etc… I look at my album and don't even know who my husband married! Do something nice, but not too far from your regular hairdo. Go to your regular hairdresser and ask her/him for suggestions.
