What Should I Do with My Short Hair for My Wedding?

So I cut my hair fairly short last summer, and it's only now starting to grow out decently (getting all shaggy-looking). I'm getting married in June, and by my estimates, my hair will be about this long (from other times I've grown it out):

I've been trying to look for bridal hairstyles pictures, but I can barely find anything in-between elaborate up-dos that assume you have several feet of hair, or "oh, you've got one of those cute pixie cuts".

My hair type is thick and generally wavy. I'm kind of enamored with '50s hairstyles, and Taylor Swift's hairstyle here: http://cdn.gossiboocrew.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Taylor-Swift-lawsuit-103111-1-129622883Gossiboo1031201164907PM.jpg — I think she normally has very long hair, doesn't she? Would I be able to get this affect at all?
Day to day, I am very lax with my hairstyle. Since it's short, I just shower and let it air-dry, and usually am happy with how it curls naturally. When it was longer, it was an odd day when I didn't just put it in a bun and be done with it. I was a bridesmaid the previous year, and we had our hair put into side-ponytails with a bow and so much hair spray and pins, I felt like I was a contestant in a toddler beauty contest.

Does anyone have any links to pictures of what I can do with medium-short hair, or other suggestions (I'm not going to do extensions).

Suggestion:

How do you feel about the 1920's? That's the era I would take inspiration from. I would go with a bold hairpiece, a fascinator or headband.

Check out Etsy.com …tons of inspiration to be had there.

eta…if you want to go long, the wig route is a valid option as well. I wear a 24-inch lace wig every day and it looks completely natural and is quite comfortable.

I'm in the same boat as you are. My hair is cut short and I love it. Therefore, for my wedding I'm going to keep my short hair. I'm not growing it out or getting extensions at all. I will have my hairdresser work with the hair that is on my head.

My wedding dress is very simple and very vintage looking. Therefore, my hairstyle will have to match my dress. Since, my hair is short having a vintage hairstyle will look super cute with my dress.

With shorter hair you can make it curly for sure. It would look super cute! Just have your hairdresser do a few short curls in your hair. Good luck with finding your style!

I hate extensions as well however visit wig shops I am serious they have some that just have combs in them and u attach to the top of your hair then u flip your hair around it and style it..

Your hair as shown in your picture is beautiful! It's got just the right amount of wave, it's shiny, and the rich brown color is lovely.

My advice: Take the picture to a good stylist, and explain about how you want it to look nice for your future wedding. She may suggest wispy bangs and a bit of a trim to even up the ends, plus a little lift at the crown and back, easily provided by rollers. I wouldn't go with a fussy style like Taylor Swift's. I grew up in the fifties, and we didn't get too strange with our hair. Can you get a look at a high school or college yearbook from the mid-fifties? You'll see some really pretty hairdos, like Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn used to wear.

Not open to extensions that is cool, just rock it short. BE Inspired by vintage, Old Hollywood, roaring 20's with deep body waves. Are your wearing a head piece of some sort, veil, headband, hat or a fascinator. When you make an appointment with the stylist and be sure to take your head piece,
